API 5L Gr.B Straight Seam Submerged Arc Welding Pipe
The LSAW steel pipe is the steel pipe whose weld seam is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the steel pipe. Usually divided into ERW steel pipe, electric welded thin wall pipe, transformer cooling tubing and so on. Direct seam welded pipe production process is simple, high production efficiency, low cost, rapid development. The strength of spiral welded pipe is generally higher than that of straight welded pipe. The welded pipe with larger diameter can be produced with narrow blank, and the welded pipe with different diameter can also be produced with the same width of blank. However, compared with the same length of straight seam pipe, the weld length increases by 30-100%.
LSAW STEEL PIPE straight seam submerged arc welding pipe, production process: first use die or forming machine to roll steel plate into pipe shape, then double sided submerged arc welding.
Feature: Product dimension range is wide, it has the advantages of high toughness, good plasticity, good uniformity and compactness, In project construction of long distance gas and oil pipeline, straight seam submerged arc welded pipe is required.
