Usually ERW pipe maximum OD is 24” (609mm), for larger dimensions pipe will be manufactured in SAW.
What kind of pipes (standards) could be made in ERW processes?
There are a lot of pipes could be manufactured by ERW process. Here below we list for the most common standards in pipelines.
ERW steel pipe application and usage:
ERW steel pipe used for transporting gas and liquid objects such as oil and gas, could meet the low and high pressure requirement. In recent years, with the development of ERW technology, more and more ERW steel pipe used in the oil and gas fields, automobile industry and so on.
1. by bundles, each bundle weight under 3 tons, for small outer diameter seamless steel pipe, each bundle with 4 - 8 steel strips.
2. after making by bundle, covered with Polyethylene waterproof cloth.
3. make black paints painting or as discussed on each pipe, then make bundles
30% T/T deposit in advance, 70% T/T balance within 5 days after B/L copy, 100% Irrevocable L/C at sight, 100% Irrevocable L/C after receive B/L 30-120 days, O/A.
